A Weekend at Catalina Island

The island of Santa Catalina is in Los Angeles County.

One of the mostly visited places is Avalon Bay,

which is about an hour long boat drive from San Pedro, CA.

It is a small island that can be cruised around on bikes. You may take your bike or rent one there.

The majority of the motorized vehicles we found were golf carts, which also you can rent.

On the graduation day in USC.

Since there are a lot of Indians in this school,

and since we Indians have a tendency to reserve rows and rows

for our family, friends, neighbors, and their friends, family,.....

with handkerchiefs, towels, bags, or whatever we have or can find...

USC wanted to make sure that others get to sit as well...

The Viterbi Engineering School graduation had the least diversity of all,

with the Indians ruling the roster!

This is the second Ciclavia in Los Angeles. During this event, held on April 10th, a seven and half mile stretch of roads were closed for all motorized vehicles. Angelenos hit the roads with increasing numbers, with variety of bicycles. The day was beautiful with just right temperature and plenty of our usual sunshine.

when we visited this month.
