The island of Santa Catalina is in Los Angeles County.
One of the mostly visited places is Avalon Bay,
which is about an hour long boat drive from San Pedro, CA.
It is a small island that can be cruised around on bikes. You may take your bike or rent one there.
The majority of the motorized vehicles we found were golf carts, which also you can rent.
